I like to make things, front to back.
Hi, I'm Sean!
My passion for coding began in middle school, when my technology class final project was
to create a website displaying our favorite things using basic HTML and CSS.
Ever since I made that webpage about the various Halo and Mario games I loved,
I've dedicated myself to creating all kinds of awesome software and webpages!
I am currently a Software Engineer II at Service Lloyds Insurance Company.
You can find out more about my hobbies in the sidebar!
My mom bought me a Nintendo 64 when I was literally a baby, and since then I
have always loved holding a controller in my hands and playing great video games!
Some of my favorite games of all time are:
- Super Mario 64
- Banjo-Kazooie
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Pokémon Emerald
- Halo 3
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I started picking up cooking during the pandemic. I wanted to try something
new, and I figured that cooking would at least be a productive activity. I
mean, everybody has to eat, right?
Since I started, I have produced "grilled" cheeses with still-cold cheese, overcooked
many steaks, and served bland korean stews. But through lots of trial and error,
I am able to consistently cook delicious and (at times) healthy meals! There’s
just something so satisfying about eating something that you cooked yourself...
Because of my kindled passion for cooking, I gained a greater appreciation for
food in general! I love eating good food, and am always looking to broaden my
culinary palette.

The Cavaliers was founded as a drum and bugle corps for Boy Scout Troop 111
in 1948 by Donald Warren. Today, it is a world-class performance ensemble that
embarks on a yearly competitive tour, culminating at the Drum Corps International
World Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana.
I was privileged to earn a spot among the 165-member ensemble as a snare drummer
from 2015 to 2017. In addition, I had the honor of serving as the snare drum
section leader in 2017.
These were some of the best summers of my life! There was something so special
about doing nothing but making incredible music with like-minded brothers.
I hold these memories near and dear to my heart and will always look back
with thankfulness for the opportunities I was given. Here's a
short playlist
with some highlights from the years I marched!
I was never a big fan of traveling, until I met my wife. Since we got married,
travelling has been one of my favorite activities. There's so much culture,
sightseeing, and food to take in!
Some notable places we've been to so far are:
- Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico
- Vail, Colorado
- Banff, Alberta, Canada
- Nashville, Tennessee
- Seattle, Washington
- Los Angeles, California
Church has been an integral part of my life since I was young. I attended
hundreds of gatherings, small groups, bible studies, and many others for as
long as I can remember. My faith has gone through many ups and downs, and
it hasn't always been easy.
Right now I attend
Austin Bridge
, a church that exists to expand God's kingdom in the city of Austin through
various missions and visions. If you have any questions about God or Christianity
(especially doubts or confusion), I am always willing to have a conversation with you!
